I've wanted to try out some watercolors for the first time, when I've watched Gura's livestream where she announced that she's going to graduate at the beginning of May. Although I have made some fanarts where I paid tribute to those who have left Hololive, this news kind of hits hard for me as Gawr Gura herself was one of the many vtubers that got me hooked (Alongside Kizuna Ai, Inugami Korone, and Calliope Mori of course). For the artwork itself, I based it off the first fanart that I drew of Gura for her birthday back in 2023. In which, I had her sitting by the pier with her genmate Amelia Watson.
As such, I just want to say thank you for all the memories we've made, Gura.

5月初旬に卒業することを発表したぐらちゃんのライブストリームを見て、初めて水彩画に挑戦してみたくなった。ホロライブを去った人たちに敬意を表するファンアートはいくつか作ったが、がうる・ぐら自身は私を夢中にさせた数多くのVtuberの一人だったので、このニュースは私にとってつらいものだ（もちろん、キズナアイ、戌神ころね、森カリオペといった他の人たちと並んで）。アートワーク自体は、2023年にぐらちゃんの誕生日に描いた最初のファンアートをベースにした。その中で、私は彼女を同世代のワトソン・アメリアと桟橋のそばに座らせた。さらに、2024年に描いたInktoberの絵をもとに、彼女の水彩画も描いた。
そんなわけで、これまでの思い出をありがとうと言いたいんだ、ぐらちゃん。
